The USS SILVERSIDES has a total of 72 bunks. These bunks are separated into four different compartments. These compartments include the forward torpedo room, officer's country, crew's quarters, and the aft torpedo room.
If we end up with more people then expected and the boat is already full, the SILVERSIDES can accommodate up to eight additional cots.
Individual Requirements
Sleeping Bag and Pillow

Clothing
Be prepared and bring warm clothing.
Dress for the season but keep in mind that even in the summer, lake temperatures are cooler than inland.
Heads
Outdoor port-a-jons or heads are located on the dock for use by everyone.
The heads aboard the vessels are non-operational.
The restroom in the gift shop is available until 11 p.m.
Watch Duties
At least one adult must stand watch at all times.
If desired, a youth may participate and also stand watch.
Periodic inspections of sleeping areas are a mandatory part of the watch duties.
The museum will provide a coffee pot. Coffee can be purchased in the gift shop or you can bring your own. When more than one group is aboard, the watch duty can be shared.
Unit Requirements For scouts
Official sanction of overnights by the scout council for troop records.
First Aid Kit and 2 flashlights
Meal Suggestions
Plan for two meals: Dinner and Breakfast.
Fast food establishments are within a ten minute drive.
Some restaurants will deliver meals with prior notice.
Grounds
There is a fire ring on site.
Please bring your own firewood.
Picnic tables are available for your use.
