The Sailing of the
SS Jug or Naught
The story of the "SS Jug or Naught" in pictures
September 2003
Combined Bear Den Meeting
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour, a three hour tour………
The weather started getting rough,
the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
the "Jug or Naught" would be lost;
the "Jug or Naught" would be lost.
The ship took ground on the shore of this uncharted desert
isle,
with Gilligan, the Skipper too,
the Millionaire, and his Wife,
the Movie Star, the Professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle.
The Bears had a blast on Saturday.
The boat went together without a flaw and faired much better
than the SS Minnow.
Thanks to all who participated.
Enjoy the Photo's from Mr. Ailsworth.
